Red Pine Ink is a private, appointment-only tattoo studio launching in Cornwall, Ontario in late August 2026. There’s no sign out front. No walk-in traffic. No waiting room full of strangers. It’s tucked inside a commercial building — and that’s exactly the point.
The best speakeasies were never advertised. You heard about them from someone who’d been. You showed up knowing what you were looking for, and what you found was worth the trip. Red Pine Ink works the same way. A quiet room, away from everything, where the only thing happening is the work.
Inside, the atmosphere is dark, deliberate, and unhurried. The kind of space that feels removed from the outside world the moment the door closes behind you.
We specialize in bold traditional styles — Japanese Traditional, Neo-Traditional, and Canadiana — strong linework, vibrant colour, and compositions designed to wear beautifully for life.
The Artist
It started at 11 years old — a glimpse of Tom DeLonge’s floating Volkswagen bus half-sleeve and a quiet certainty: I need to be covered. By 18, the first tattoo. Immediately hooked — not just on the ink, but on the art behind it.
Justin Courville is the founder, sole owner, and artist behind Red Pine Ink. Self-taught, with three and a half years of hands-on experience, his work is rooted in Japanese traditional tattooing — a style built on symbolism, intentionality, and timeless design. Bold linework, deliberate composition, and a deep respect for the traditions that inspire it.
The Experience
Every session begins with a one-hour, one-on-one consultation — no pressure, no rush. Just a conversation to make sure the work carries the meaning it deserves. Justin provides numbing glide, numbing green soap, and offers numbing cream, because comfort matters and there’s no reason a tattoo has to be more painful than it needs to be.
